Terms and Conditions for Car Rental (Hengerutleie)

1  General Information

1.1. These terms and conditions govern the rental of car trailer, boats and other equipment from UE Maskin & Utleie.

1.2. By renting a car trailer, boats and other equipment  from UE Maskin & Utleie], you agree to abide by these terms and conditions.

2  Rental Period

2.1. The rental period begins on the date and time the rental object is picked up and ends on the date and time the rental object is returned.

2.2. Extensions to the rental period must be agreed upon in advance and may incur additional charges.

3  Rental Charges

3.1. Rental charges are calculated based on the rental period and the type of object rented.

3.2. Additional charges may apply for mileage, fuel, insurance, and other services.

4  Vehicle Use

4.1. The vehicle may only be driven by the person(s) named on the rental agreement.

4.2. The vehicle must be used in accordance with all local laws and regulations.

4.3. The vehicle must not be used for illegal purposes, off-road driving, or towing without permission.

5  Insurance and Liability

5.1. The renter is responsible for any damage to the rental object not covered by insurance.

5.2. Insurance coverage options will be offered at the time of rental. The renter is responsible for understanding the coverage and exclusions.

6  Maintenance and Repairs

6.1. The renter must take care of the rental object and ensure it is returned in the same condition as when rented, excluding normal wear and tear.

6.2. Any necessary repairs must be reported to and approved by UE Maskin & Utleie before being carried out.

7  Breakdowns and Accidents

7.1. In the event of a breakdown or accident, the renter must contact UE Maskin & Utleie immediately.

7.2. An accident report must be filed with the local authorities and a copy provided to UE Maskin & Utleie.

8  Fuel Policy

8.1. The rental object must be returned with the same level of fuel as at the start of the rental period.

8.2. Charges will apply for any shortfall in fuel.

9  Return of the rental Object

9.1. The rental object must be returned by the agreed date and time to the location specified in the rental agreement.

9.2. Late returns may incur additional charges.

10 Cancellations and No-shows

10.1. Cancellations must be made according to rental agreement, to avoid charges.

10.2. No-shows may result in a charge equivalent to one day’s rental.

11  Privacy and Data Protection

11.1. The renter’s personal data will be used in accordance with our privacy policy and applicable data protection laws.

11.2. Personal data may be shared with third parties for the purpose of the rental agreement.

12  Governing Law

12.1. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction].

12.2. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms and conditions will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [jurisdiction].
